WHAT IS ST. JUDE AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of [their] founder, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay.
WHY ARE WE HOSTING THIS EVENT?
September is the national Childhood Cancer Awareness month. We are hosting this event to raise money that will help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find new treatments for childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. You can help St. Jude continue its lifesaving work against pediatric diseases with your donation and/or participation.

Please encourage others to donate in your behalf to raise awareness. Ask a friend or a neighbor to register, and take a stand with us for those who are not able to do so. All participants collecting donations receive a certificate of appreciation regardless of how much they raise. Participants raising : $35 or more will receive a St. Jude T-shirt. $75 or more will receive a St. Jude tote bag. $150 or more will receive a St. Jude T-shirt, tote bag and a camp stool.
